One crucial part of the bike is a comfortable seating position in the bike
to be able to push with your maximum power. In the past we have figured this
out with small foam parts, what is the best position of the seat in the bike.

 

In the last weeks we have made ​the

next step and have built a​ custom made seat​.

Hans had a genius idea to prepare a positive

​mould​ directly in the bike. We have taken a plastic bag,

​filled it with small polystyrene​ balls and placed it in the bike.

​Then Matthias took a seat in the bike. 

 

 

 

  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

With a vacuum pump we have sucked out the air. Matthias got out of the bike 

and Hans and Matthias layed two layers of carbon on the positive mould.

To have a proper seat some more steps need to be done, but the most difficult

part is done.
